• Non-members who would like to attend Vidyaranya Kannada Kuta programs will have to pay a Per-Event Fee. This fee varies from one function to another and is normally announced prior to the program. 

 

Membership Period

Annual memberships begin in January of 2023 and will be valid till the end of the calendar year.

However the membership will remain valid until the Ugadi function of the following year (2024) for situations including signing petitions to call for special General Body meetings, exercising voting power in special General Body meetings. A person may also become a member of Kannada Kuta after the Ugadi function. The membership in such cases will also expire at the end of the calendar year or December 31, 2023.

 

Membership Privileges

A person holding a family membership will be eligible to bring the member's spouse, parents( of both spouse and member visiting from India) and children of member and spouse bellow 22 years to the four "family get-together" activities without paying additional fees. These four activities include Ugadi, Annual Picnic, Ganesha Festival and Deepavali/Kannada Rajyothsava. Non-members who wish to participate in any function of VKK shall be considered guests and are required to pay guest fees announced by the VKK Executive Committee.

Membership dues must have been paid by October 1st of a given year for being eligible to vote in the same year and to be elected as President or for other elected positions.
